Working With Buyers Agents

When you list on the MLS and make an offer of compensation, the purpose is to have agents bring you a ready, willing and able buyer. In return, the agent is getting paid a commission. Learn more about commission strategies here.

If a buyer is working with an agent, the agent will accompany them on all the showings, handle negotiations and offers, and work with you throughout the transaction. It is appropriate for you to deal directly with the agent rather with the buyer themselves.  Make sure you get a business card or their contact information when they come for a showing. You may want to contact them for feedback afterwards.
